A game between rigid and soft shapes: the Groovy modular sofa embodies the essence of relaxation in a slender and fine structure
As petals that bloom, Groovy's armrests open slightly outwards to highlight the soft cushions. The balance between comfort and linearity, square shapes and softness is the pivotal point around which Officinadesign Lema created the Groovy sofa design, a perfect interpreter of the philosophy based on relaxation characterised by comfort and modularity. Attention to detail and high customisation define this sofa, displaying the Made in Italy quality in every detail.
Supported by non-visible feet, the rigid external structure of the sofa is available in both leather or fabric, as well as the cushions, making an infinite game of material and chromatic combinations possible.
Structure:
solid wood and plywood with seat suspension guaranteed by elastic
straps with a high rubber component - armrests and backrests in
curved plywood of poplar covered with velveteen
Preparation of the structure:
in high-density polyurethane foam in differentiated densities and
resistance
Further upholstery of the structure with fibre bonded with fabric
adhesive to velcro
Seat cushions:
in high-density polyurethane foam. Surface padding in channeled
MICROFLOCK® (100% virgin polyester)
Back cushions:
in visco-fiber chips with non-deformable polyurethane insert
Removable upholstery:
the upholstery of the armrests and backrests is fixed while the
seat cushions and backrest cushions have removable upholstery
both in fabric and in leather
Feet:
black ABS with non-slip pad in rubber
The direction of the fabric, given the wide variety of compositional
choices, is defined by the company.
