A contemporary suspension lamp in which the formal vocabulary of the chandelier is reduced to its essentials, in pursuit of a synthesis of function and décor. Composed of curved extruded aluminium arms arranged dynamically with built-in LEDs, its presence is generated by the playful combination of parts and finishes. The lamp emits upward and downward light.
“We began by asking ourselves where the technology would take us: LEDs, in fact, offer new opportunities that enable us to work on the quality of the light and its distribution. Within the typology of a large, central overhead lamp, we wondered what might be the most essential form the LEDs would allow us to obtain. The outcome is the idea of the arm made with an LED strip, which became the starting point of the design.”
