My first step into the nautical industry was 18 years ago when, during my Interior Design course, I took the opportunity to intern for a company that fitted out public spaces aboard large cruise ships. "What is the difference between a large ship and a house?" It was this very question that drove me to seek out answers and step into a world that was completely new to me. I eventually shifted from ships, accepting professional opportunities as they arose, to yachts, first as a member of external studios collaborating with leading Italian shipyards, and later as an integral part of the technical and design office at Baglietto shipyard, working within its specialist Interior Design department, a department I am proud to still be a part of to this day.
