From outer Space is the cross disciplinary initiative through which Anna Paola Buonanno and Piergiorgio Italiano bring to life their collaborative practice, aimed at exploring the economic, social and environmental dynamics by designing spaces.
Research into exhibition possibilities is at the heart of theoretical and professional activities at the studio, which recently oversaw exhibition projects for Marséll Paradise, Edicola Radetzky and Dropcity.
From outer Space was awarded the first prize in the ReCall international competition and has exhibited works at WUHO gallery (Los Angeles), Felleshus (Berlin) M4gastatelier (Amsterdam) Falstadsenteret (Ekne, Norway), Camp Design Gallery, DOCVA/Viafarini, Peep Hole, Subalterno1, Supersalone (Milan), Fahrenheit 39 ( Ravenna, Italy). The studio has also collaborated, among others, with bulthaup Italia, Icon Panorama, IFI Spa, Leroy Merlin, Mousse Publishing, and Milan’s Polytechnic.
