The renovation of the milanese confetteria Sant Ambroeus brings the space back to its “original 1930s cradle almost a century later, with a divine new look courtesy of design darling Fabrizio Casiraghi”, reports the magazine The World of Interiors
“Originally conceived as a finely-crafted pasticceria, the shop quickly emerged as one of the city’s most beloved meeting places” - tells Elly Parsons in her article, speaking about the history of Sant Ambroeus, which has now returned to Milan after several decades. The interior has been designed by Fabrizio Casiraghi who, interviewed by Parsons, stated that he was largely influenced by the design of Villa Necchi, but also that “Lighting is 50 per cent of a place’s success” - read here the full article.
